Internal Memorandums, better known as memos are used to communicate various types of information.  Memos can address one person, small groups, or an entire company.  All information in a memo can be passed along to people other than the original recipient. Email and paper from are the most common ways to transfer memorandums.

Tips For Internal Memorandums


       Note the sender and receiver of the memo

       Contains pertinent, immediately necessary information

       Pay attention to dates, noting chronology

       Remember a memo has multiple readers / audiences

       Always have a sender, recipient, and subject
